This is buffd-moccasin. How does it look on me?? in the 2nd pic It looks a little dark compared to my neck huh?

Tomorrow is my 1st paper. Im supposed to be the most confident in this paper compared to the other 2. but from the time i fell sick last week till todate, i have not been studying much. Now i'm so worried already. Maybe i should get my butt out and go to the airport to study.

Wish me good luck for my exams. Hope i dont flunk them.

Edit: I think i look really stupid in self-portraits. hahaha

I bought 3 foundation samples and 2 colour correctors from buffd recently.

Foundation samples:

cream - med light with pink and yellow undertones

almond - med light with subtle yellow undertones

moccasin - med light with heavier yellow undertones.

I first tried cream as i thought that i am of a warm shade. but recently i realised that my neck is yellow! and my face and neck doesnt match. but nevertheless i tried cream first

i think its too warm for me. but i love the heavy coverage to cover the scars i have. =)

and the texture is a lil creamy too.

today, i tried almond. Ann* told me it was a tad too yellow. but after putting on my finishing powder it looks kinda okay to me.

yay!!!! my gow is here.

I had to rush from work to get it from the PO before it closes.

today is my last day of work before i go on leave and i had to stay to brief my boss/colleague on what is to be done. and my boss had a meeting which last till 7pm. and the PO closes at 8pm. so after a brief briefing (haha) i rushed to the train station, took train to Tampines and half ran to the PO. luckily i made it like few mins before it closes.

It was actually sent to Ann's place so i helped her to collect it and then her hubby picked her stuffs from me. Well, i'm happy i got my GOW stuffs!!! YIPPEE!!!

i've gotten the oily/dehydrated kit, mandelic acid 10% w/o alcohol and the lemongrass cleanser.

i'm gonna have a fun time trying all the stuffs! hopefully my skin will get better soon!!

Gloomy day NO MORE!

I woke up with a sore throat. The bug is around the house recently. Started with mum falling sick last week, and she spread it to my nephew who stayed over on weekends. and yesterday it was my turn. Partly also becoz i've been having too much "heaty" food like chicken essence, ginseng tea in preparation for my exams. + lots of fish crackers with extra hot chilli sauce. OMG that's heaven.

but it got worse today, now i'm having a runny nose and headache on top of my sore throat (which over these 2 days i have finished a bottle of losenges). Really feeling gloomy and the thought of Ann not sms-ing me means that our GOW order is not here yet weighed me down more.

Then i reached home, and saw 2 packages! AHUH! my day brightened up abit. There was my buffd samples which i ordered last week and the other package which was of an odd size. I looked at the stamp and it was from Japan! i suddenly remembered that i asked Yuko to CP a sunblock for me which Ann reviewed it to be quite good. and that angel was so generous that she included 5 samples into my package! Thanks Yuko!

Everyone is posting their buys and want-to-buys recently!

what's going on?!?! a buying-mmu-and-other-related-stuffs bug going around like the flu bug??

and its making me so tempted to spend! especially when Ann is now a SAHM and is constantly online to tempt me into buying stuffs. *glares at Ann*

I've been tempted into:

1) SN (bought erm 4 lippies and couple of blushes);

2) shespace duo pigments - i am willingly being tempted to donate some $.

3) GOW (ordered my oily/dehydrated kit, mandelic acid and lemongrass cleanser) - ok, this i tempted Ann into it instead, by "GOWWWWWWWWWWW" her every now and then. =x

With almost everyone getting lauress, buffd, coastalscents recently, i kept looking at these websites too!! but i think i will most probably only get coastal scents coz i need another FT as a spare. Speaking of which, i'm so terribly sad that i didnt get my lumiere large FT. It came defected and had to be returned and refunded as they have no more stock. I M SO SAD! *wailsssss*

I think i shall get the following synthetic brushes from CS sooner or later:

1) wide buffer brush

2) powder brush

3) concealor

4) eyeshadow.

Trying too hard to keep my hands tied!!!

I have so many lemmings and yet no moolah to get it. Practically busted my bank account. It makes me sad that i've been working for a couple of years and yet have no savings. =(

Because my skin has been quite bad, my lemmings are all of skincare. Trying to stop buying mmu and buy some commercial makeup to cover my scars. I just bought MAC studio fix fluid yesterday for some heavy coverage days (which is almost every day). But mainly i bought it for use for a good friend's wedding in 2 weeks time.

I'm starting to get annoyed with people who keep asking what happened to my face. Its like practically almost everyone i see asks me that. My receptionist, my colleagues, the lady at the stationery shop, my classmates. GOSH. its irritating. My dad asked me once and i flared up at him, became moody and even forgo-ed my chance at the Singapore Flyer. What a waste!

Exams are up in a month's time. Trying to juggle work and studies aint an easy feat. sometimes i wish i could go back and become a full time student, however $$$ is also important.

Anyway, this post started off with my lemmings and i shall put them down here so that i can save up (hee hee hee):

I've gotten my previous loot of GoW which costs almost 100SGD for me.

I love the cleansing oil best. Really feels the junk coming out. Least favourite is the azulene base cream. Doesnt seem to moisturise my face. I've changed back to using my emu oil.

I'm loving it, la la la la laaaaaaaaa.

Well, i'm loving MacDonalds! =x

and my MMBB liquid foundation! it looks really natural and radient!

and it feels really light on the face. So i went ahead and gotten a 5g in med light. =)

the happy thing is, i realised my pores have shrunk. I have no idea why or what shrunk it, but what matters is that IT HAS SHRUNK!!!!!!!!!! yippee!

However i'm having a spotty period lately. My jaw area is still congested and to top it off, i;m having pimples on my cheek, on both sides of my forehead. and it has been there for some time and doesnt go off.

i'm gonna try the red clay mask i've gotten from Lisa on my jaw area. hopefully it will purge them out and i'll have clear skin soon!
